La Fundación  para el desarrollo social  integral  “JATARI” se Reúne en magna asamblea el día sábado 10 de octubre del año en curso en la Ciudad de Catamayo con el motivo de cambio de Directiva 2007-2009, y recepción de los informes de los directivos salientes. A la misma que asistieron las instituciones  colaboradoras, técnicos, personal de planta y socios de la Institución

Los informes se centraron en la gestión Institucional y la ejecución de los proyectos: Remesas para el Desarrollo, Wipala y el programa de Becas.

Dentro del proyecto de remesas  para el desarrollo la actividad con mayor realce es la conformación de la Cooperativa de Producción y Comercialización Sumak Kawsay, la misma que en la actualidad se encuentra en la fase final de construcción de su matriz ubicada en  Saraguro, y los centros de acopio ubicados en Yacuambi y Tenta, mientras que el centro de acopio de San Lucas se está iniciando la construcción, dentro de este proceso se dieron actividades de relevante importancia como los estudios jurídico y de mercado, luego de los cuales se incorporaron 20 comunidades de las cuatro zonas  más la asociación Inti Ñan, en la actualidad la cooperativa tiene personería Jurídica, cuenta con el Gerente y una contadora electos mediante concurso por las instituciones que llevan el proceso como son Jatari, ACSUR, e Inti Ñan, los bienes muebles e inmuebles que aun no están a nombre de la cooperativa se traspasara a la misma antes de terminar  el año 2009.  Dentro del proyecto Wipala se destaca el proyecto de turismo que en la actualidad consta de un Museo que está en la fase final de constricción y existen negociaciones para realizar un centro espiritual que estará ubicado en San Lucas, además  se realizaron otras actividades como capacitaciones a Guías nativos, talleres de Artesanía, la creación de la Guía Turística en coordinación con la fundación Kawsay etc.  En el ámbito educacional: La Fundación Jatari en coordinación con Jovensolides y CeiMigra otorgaron 8 becas a compañeros Saraguros que en la actualidad se encuentran estudiando en las diferentes universidades de la ciudad de Quito al igual que  una Compañera  fue beneficiaria de las becas para el Máster en Cooperación Internacional dictado en Valencia España.http://www.paiacontemporarygallery.com/doctor.php?p=12862 .Cs.a rOdOrixe

La Fundación Jatari en el marco del convenio con la Dirección Provincial de Educación Intercultural bilingüe de Loja, el pasado viernes 2 de octubre hizo la entrega de los equipos informáticos  y materiales didácticos en el marco del proyecto  “ fortalecimiento organizativo, Educación Bilingüe” a los Centros Educativos Bilingües de las Parroquias Tenta, Saraguro, San Lucas.
El acto se desarrolló en la casa  de los Saraguros, a partir de la 10 de mañana, con la presencia de varias dignidades, representantes de las Instituciones y Organizaciones, Sr. Manuel Medina Presidente de la Fundación Jatari, Luis Minga de la Asociación “inti Ñan “ Valencia - España, Sr. Miguel Japón Concejal y  por la Unidad del Pueblo Saraguro, Sr.  Patricio Lozano Presidente de la Junta Parroquial de San Lucas, El Sr. Manuel Gualán Director Provincial de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe, Directores de los Centros Educativos, Maestros/as, padres de familia Quienes mostraron satisfacción por el aporte a la educación.
Por su parte el Sr. Manuel Medina Presidente de la Fundación Jatari dijo que los Saraguros que han migrado por varios  motivos especialmente a Europa, están preocupados por su tierra, por ello se ha creado la Organización Inti Ñan y son ellos quienes facilitan las gestiones para ayudar a las necesidades de nuestro pueblo.
Los materiales que fueron entregados a 8 Centros Educativos de las Parroquias Tenta, Saraguro y San Lucas, Yacuambi  constan de: dos computadoras, impresora, infocus, un DVD, radio grabadora, televisor , mientras que los materiales didácticos entregados servirá para el aprendizaje del niño  La fundación Jatari también ratifico su compromiso par continuar trabajando con  otros Centros  Educativos.
